The Dan, or more precisely the Danwopeumin, are a West African people living mainly in the center-west of Côte d'Ivoire.

The Dan is the symbol of the city of Man, located more than 600 km from the economic capital Abidjan. It is very often worn by the Yacouba ethnic group. Its similarities with the faso dan fani of Burkina Faso are numerous. Traditionally blue, white and black, it is made on manual looms. The dan is a true ambassador of the culture of western Côte d'Ivoire.

To be used as a bedspread, throw, tablecloth, etc.
